Angewandte Chemie or Angewandte Chemie International Edition is the chemistry journal of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (Society of German Chemists). The "Angewandte", as it is informally called, publishes articles on all fields of chemistry. It is a weekly publication with reviews, highlights, and communications. Angewandte Chemie is German for applied chemistry. The Angewandte, unlike many other journals does not provide open access abstracts let alone graphical abstracts.
