The music for Anthem of the Republic of Karelia (Anthem of the Republic of Karelia.ogg (help·info)) was written by Alexander Beloborodov (Александр Белобородов), whilst the (Russian) lyrics were composed by Armas Mashin and Ivan Kostin (Армас Мишин & Иван Костин ). The Finnish text was written by Mr. Mishin alone. The lyrics of the National Anthem are established by the Law of the Republic of Karelia.
