Asan is a city in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. It is located at 36°47′N, 126°59′E. It is known for its hot springs. Asan has pretty much absorbed the neighboring village, Onyang, which is also known for its hot springs. Onyang is not to be confused with Onyang-eup in Ulsan.

It shares with the neighbouring city of Cheonan a station for the KTX high speed trains, called Cheonan-Asan Station.
