EuroBasket is the name commonly used to refer to the men's basketball championship contested biennially by the national teams of the European continent under the auspices of FIBA Europe, a zone of the Fédération Internationale de Basketball, every second iteration of which serves as a qualifying tournament for the FIBA World Championship. The defending champion is Russia.
