This is a Chinese name; the family name is Ge.

Ge You (simplified Chinese: 葛优; traditional Chinese: 葛優; pinyin: Gě Yōu; born April 19, 1957) is an acclaimed Mainland Chinese actor. A native to Beijing, he is considered by many to be one of the most recognizable acting personalities in the Mainland. His success with his major roles in comedy films made him a well known name throughout Mainland China. In 1994, Ge You won the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival for his role in the Zhang Yimou movie To Live.
