Indra Sahdan Daud is a Singaporean footballer.

Considered one of Southeast Asia's most lethal strikers, Indra was part of the squad that won the Tiger Cup for Singapore in 2005 and 2007. Not only was he the first local player to score 100 (total) S.League goals in 2003, he also became Singapore highest paid local player when he re-signed for Home United FC.

While playing for the Singapore national football team against Malaysia in May 2006, Indra suffered a freak ligament injury which sidelined him for the rest of the year. His comeback came in the King's Cup in December 2006 in Thailand when he put on commendable performances.

He is playing for Home United after starting out at the Bedok Stadium with Geylang United FC in the S.League.

He has a knack for scoring against top teams such as Manchester United, Uruguay, Japan, Denmark and Kuwait among others. He also had a training stint at Chelsea FC in 2003 as part of a deal with Emirates Airline.[1]

He was the face of Nike Football Singapore as part of Nike's advertising campaign for the 2007 Asean Football Championship, formerly known as the Tiger Cup.

On July 11th 2007, it was reported in a local tabloid that Indra had been offered trials from Melbourne Victory and Real Salt Lake[2] but after weeks of speculation, nothing came out of it.

With national team captain, Aide Iskandar dropped from the national sidefor the friendly against UAE, Indra took over the armband and led the side to a credible 1-1 draw. Indra is also vice captain for his club, Home United.

On the 9th of November 2007, just hours before the kick off of the World Cup 2010 qualifiers against Tajikistan, then-captain of the national team, Aide Iskandar sensationally retired from international football, and by doing so, he handed down the skipper's armband to Indra.

Indra Sahdan underwent a successful trial with the American MLS club Real Salt Lake in Miami, Florida from 14 to 24 Feb 2008; scoring 2 goals in 4 starts. The Home United striker is then invited to join Real Salt Lakeon their 2 weeks preseason tour to Rosario, Argentina, beginning on the 1st of March, for 3 exhibition matches. This invitation comes in view of the MLS side offering Indra a contract for this upcoming season.

Indra Sahdan's agent, Dave Roberts, is quoted to describe Indra's chances of getting the contract as "Excellent", after his conversation with the club's general manager, Garth Lagerway. In the transfer do go through, Indra Sahdan Daud will become Singapore's only third footballer to be playing outside of Asia, following Fandi Ahmad and V. Sundramoorthy.
