Kirenga River

Kirenga River (Russian: Киренга) is a river in Irkutsk Oblast in Russia, right tributary of the Lena. The length of the river is 746 km. The area of its basin is 46,600 sq km. The Kirenga River freezes up in the late October - early November and stays under the ice until the late April - May. Its main tributaries are the Ulkan, Minya, and Khanda. The town of Kirensk is located at the mouth of the Kirenga River.
