Mongolia competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. No Mongolian athlete has won a gold medal, though the country can claim five silver and eight bronze medals.

Mongolia brought eleven competitors in 2004. 20 year old judoka Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar won their only medal when he defeated Kenji Uematsu of Spain in the bronze medal contest of the 60 kg category on August 14.
