Olympia Larissas Club (BC) is a Greek sports club founded in 1979, making it one of the youngest sports clubs in Greece. The club is based in Larissa, a Greek city located in the Thessaly periphery with a population of 124,376 and equally distant from Athens and Thessaloniki. Olympia Larissa's home arena is the Larissa Neapolis Arena with capacity for 3,958 fans. The club has elected the famous Greek player Dimos Dikoudis.
Olympia Larissa BC is a Greek prospect team that has been ascending of late in the Greek championship, A1 Ethniki. During the 2006-2007 season, Olympia Larissa placed 7th in regular season and qualified to the play-offs for the first time. With core leaders such as former University of Florida standout Matt Walsh, recent 2007 NBA Draft second round draft pick Giorgos Printezis and Giorgos Tsiaras, Olympia Larissa is a team composed of young players on the rise with a promising future.
