Polish European Union membership referendum in 2003 also known in Poland as European referendum or accession referendum (Polish: referendum 2003, referendum europejskie or referendum akcesyjne}}) concerned accession of Poland to the European Union and ratification of the Treaty of Accession 2003 (Athene's Treaty) by Poland. The referendum took place over the course of two days - 7 and 8 June 2003. Poles answered the following question:
According to Polish official results, 58.85% of population voted (17 586 215 people). 77.45% of them (13 516 612) answered yes; 22,55% (3 936 012) answered no. See alsoImage:Referendum-Polska-UE-2003-png.png
