SSH Communications Security is a Finnish company that is based in Helsinki and was founded by Tatu Ylönen in 1995. It is known as the original developer of the Secure Shell protocol and it currently has about 80 employees. In 2006 its revenue numbered 9,5 million euros while the loss was 0,2 million.
