True Tears[1] is a romantic visual novel developed by La'cryma, a collaboration between Broccoli,[2] and Circus. A PlayStation 2 port is due to be released on March 13 2008. An anime adaptation by P.A. Works started airing in Japan on January 6 2008. There will also be a radio drama.[3]
AdaptationsMangaA manga adaptation by Asaki started serialization in the manga magazine Comi Digi on December 10 2005. The manga continued its serialization in the magazine after the title of the magazine got changed to Comi Digi +. Anime
An anime also named True Tears produced by P.A. Works began airing on January 6 2008.[4] Directed by Junji Nishimura, the anime series only shares the title True Tears and is otherwise completely unrelated to the original game. However, La'cryma is still credited as the original creator in the anime's opening credits. Theme songs
