Viewable With Any Browser is a campaign to encourage web developers to create websites that are interoperable with all web browsers. The ultimate goal is to make every web page viewable with any browser.
The idea behind this is that web content should be freely available to anybody. This campaign started out as a result of a growing number of sites bearing a text or banner stating “this site is best viewed with Netscape/Internet Explorer”. To support any browser, a web page has to follow the World Wide Web Consortium's standards for HTML and CSS.
