The West Lamma Channel (Chinese: 西博寮海峽) is a sea channel in Hong Kong. It is situated between the western shore of Lamma Island and the eastern shores of Peng Chau, Hei Ling Chau and Cheung Chau. To the north it leads into Victoria Harbour and Kap Shui Mun, to the south into the South China Sea. Larger vessels prefer to use this channel, rather than the parallel East Lamma Channel, because of its greater width. |
